Beautiful site with lovely riverside views. Very welcoming on arrival. Good pitch. Excellent toilet/showers. Nice hot showers. Clean washing machines, use the app. Lovely walk into Wertheim. Definitely recommend

The site is situated on the Romatische Strasse not far from the stunning old town of Wertheim, a must see with its castle, cobbled streets and beautiful german architecture. You can also take a dip in the fantastic municipal swimming pool adjoining the site which is free for campsite guests.
Azur Camping Wertheim is set on the banks of where the Main and Taub rivers meet, making it a perfect spot to idle the afternoon away watching the huge barges and boats go by.
Take a trip to Wertheim on one of the pleasant cycle and walking pathways direct from the site and enjoy a trip on one of the river pleasure boats.

Great location
Stayed at this site for 3 nights in July 23. Lovely flat pitch. Electric boxes are not easy to reach and you may need to lay cables across road. Great local pool a few hundred yards away with free access. Easy walk to town. Be aware reception is closed for... Show more

Amazing place!
Spent 5 days here recently and had the most wonderful time. We didn’t have a river side pitch but we could see the river perfectly. Spent hours watching the boats go by. This site is in a convenient location only a few miles off the autobahn network. The site facilities are generally good but the electrical hook ups are located centrally along the length of the site with none adjacent to the riverview pitches. 45m of cable was needed to reach my... Show more

Watch the boats go by
Probably a good place to stop for a couple of nights if travelling further afield such as Austria or Switzerland.
