Why stay here ...

Ideally placed for a short stay to explore Lyon or a stopover when heading south, this site has been designed to suit the surrounding environment, with pitches arranged around wooded groves. Reception has long opening hours to accommodate later arrivals in summer, and a restaurant serves family-friendly dishes. Bread and croissants can be ordered from reception for the morning, and children can relax in the heated pool, playground or games room.

The main attraction is bustling Lyon, famous for its gourmet cuisine, dynamic culture and wonderful museums - there's transport links 200m from the site. Don’t miss the Romanesque-Gothic cathedral, the Opéra de Lyon and the Roman amphitheatre – or, indeed, a chance to sample some of the excellent food. Tickets for attractions can be bought at reception.

Booking error.

Booked an overnight stay here en route to Spain but got the date wrong (one night early). As a result, had to pay for 2 nights as site reception said they could only change a booking made directly with the site. I booked through the club because I was unable... Show more

Good site for a stop over

We stopped here on our way to Paris. It's just off the main road, so very easy to get to. Pitch size ok for a 8M caravan + car and small tent, but would have been tight if we'd wanted the awning up. Queue of vans... Show more

Disappointing

Upon arrival the impressive reception and adjacent restaurant looked promising. It went downhill a bit from there. Arrived on pitch and they are quite closely packed in. The pitch was tired and dirty - the pitches had water facilities on them but all turned off and the grey water drains... Show more

WARNING

I just wanted to add that we awoke this morning after 24 hrs of rain to really look at things. Of course, the pitch was sodden, but the rain had literally destroyed the top layer of the standing. Albeit the rain wasn’t that heavy, more persistent, the awful... Show more

1970s Time-Wharp

We are still here after booking for three nights on our first caravan venture abroad; wish I had read these reviews before we booked to stay. On arrival all seemed ok and then we tried to find our pitch. The given map is not a reflection of the site... Show more

Excellent for a Stopover or Lyon Visit

Despite some negative reviews I hope this site remains on the clubs list as it’s in a fantastic location just off the main road through Lyon. There is a large supermarket beside it which was very handy for stalking up on our journey south. The pitches were a decent size... Show more

OK for a couple of nights

Stayed here for three nights recently but two nights would have been enough. A trip into Lyon is well worth the trouble but that is it. The site is looking a bit tired with the owners appearing to spend their money in installing more holiday homes than on the visiting... Show more

What a mess!

Good shade for caravan on hot summer days. Helpful staff. Convenient for those 'just stopping by'. BUT: Only three working showers for (literally) hundreds of us, and this was NOT just a temporary glitch. This site needs serious money spending on it.

Great access let down by poor site

This is the second time we have used this site - primarily due to it being open in March when we head south to Spain and some sunshine. I tend to agree with other comments about the site being muddy and not level. The facilities are dated... Show more

Not particularly impressed ...

Some pitches are level but most are quite uneven, comprising bare earth and some grass. Therefore muddy when wet (as it was when we stayed). Showers, etc., adequate but not as clean as they could be - again, a consequence of that mud! But plenty of hot... Show more
