An attractive and peaceful site, Chanteloup is located close to Le Mans, making it ideal for quiet stays, stopovers and motor racing enthusiasts. Set in the park of a 19th century château, it offers a friendly atmosphere to relax and the well-maintained facilities include a pool, bar and restaurant. Enjoy a stroll in the 21 hectare forest park with its walled gardens, roses, hydrangeas and fishing lake. Chanteloup has large open pitches some of which overlook the lake and its serviced pitches are located in the wooded area at the top of the site, situated further from the sanitation biulding.
Le Mans and its famous race track are less than 30 minutes’ drive from the site. Its quiet old town is perched above the bustling modern town and has some beautiful cobbled streets lined by timbered buildings. Each summer, the old town is illuminated by an impressive free light show called “La Nuit des Chimieres”.
