Why stay here ...

Nestled in the heart of the Angers wine-growing region, this small, countryside site is ideally located for an active yet relaxing holiday. You'll receive a cheery welcome upon arrival and find pitches large and sunny with good access.

Take the  bus into Angers or Doue de la Fontaine from the bus stop only 20 mins walk from the campsite, ask at the customer friendly reception for a lift if you have difficulty walking and also don’t forget the map of Angers with the car park that accepts Motorhomes if you need it.

The on-site lake is perfect for fishing and the site has its own vineyard and produces its own wine. The adjacent Parc de Loisirs offers a variety of activities for children, including boating, miniature train rides and pony rides.

There’s lots to do around and about including visits to lively Angers with its lovely old town and thriving café culture, château and riverside walks. A 20 minute walk takes you to Brissac with its market, restaurants and shops. The Châteaux de Brissac can be explored on a guided tour which offers access to some of its 200 rooms.

Nice location

Great location within a mile walk of the village, which has a small bar, restaurants, bakery and butcher. No grocery (but the site shop has all the basics, along with bread and croissant next day ordering.) Also a fabulous market on Thursdays. The magnificent Châteaux is well worth a visit... Show more

Great family site in good location

Only stopped here for a couple of nights in 8m twin axel caravan. Very generous serviced pitch and whilst the site is large, pitches are private feeling with established planting in-between. Toilets and showers were maybe a little dated but perfectly fine. We used the restaurant once... Show more

We will be returning.

Beautiful, lovely - cannot wait to return and visit some of the local vineyards for tasting & purchasing. Facilities great and clean - even has dishwashers. A peaceful site and the local town is sweet (try the fromagerie and cremerie) and Chateau Brissac worth visitng.

Booked 4 nights, stayed 3.

Not able to comment on family as we were just 2 adults. Access tight over narrow bridge, advertised as walk to village by the river NOT suitable for disabled people, therefore no suitable route to other amenities . Left early as roads are dusty and staff constantly speeding by in golf buggies... Show more

Flipping lovely

What a lovely, peaceful site. Hard to decide what we liked best: - wildlife is positively encouraged resulting in a wide range of birdsong. Added to that was the sound of croaking frogs from the fishing pond (don't pitch up too near the pond if you're a light sleeper) - large,... Show more

Lovely peaceful site

Lovely site. Clean, peaceful, with attentive staff. Most of the pitches were generous. We were there in low season: but the showers etc are not numerous, so may be stretched in peak periods. A little gem!
