This exceptional site is a favourite among members thanks to its friendly staff, excellent amenities and lovely location. Set amid the rolling hill and countryside of Gascony, it offers generously sized, part-terraced pitches with rural views, and a range of activities, including a supervised pool area designed for families, tennis and an animal park.
The site can provide mapped walking and cycling routes, and the owners also find time to offer guided walks in between running their efficient site. La Romieu, which is a short walk from the site, is on the Santiago de Compostela pilgrimage route and has religious significance due to its collegiate church. The quiet lanes offer some wonderful cycling, although the terrain is hilly. Auch, with its UNESCO-listed cathedral and spectacular views of the Gers valley, is less than an hour’s drive.
