Why stay here ...
Les Grottes de Roffy is a small site situated in the picturesque hilly countryside of the Dordogne, perfect for a rural escape. It is surrounded by the historic traditional villages in this area, the Unesco listed cave paintings and the nearby well known, beautiful market town of Sarlat.
In the low season the site is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the on site restaurant and cosy bar in the converted buildings. The pitches are grassy and shaded and in the centre lower part of the site.
For exploring on days out visit the gardens of the Manoir d’Eyrignac, the mediaeval cities of Vitrac and Beynac or the impressive Castelnaud Castle. There is so much to see in this stunning area.
In the high season the impressive pool complex with its heated pool and slides, the kid’s clubs and the night time entertainment including shows, karaoke and dancing make this the perfect family holiday destination. There is a playground, a multisport area and tennis court where the kids can let off steam and nearby you can take the whole family canoeing and kayaking on the famous Dordogne river.
The caves of Padirac and the prehistoric caves of Lascaux will keep the whole family amazed and a traditional boat trip at Beynac is a lovely day out.
