Les Charmes - Saint André-d'Allas

Les Charmes is a small and  charming 3* site, ideally located  up in the hills just 15 minutes north of Sarlat and run by a lovely friendly couple.

It's a quiet natural campsite with a friendly atmosphere and small but quality services, like your fresh bread in the morning or a drink and meal on the restaurant terrace, where you can enjoy splendid views of the sun setting over the hills.

There is no organised entertainment onsite, you can relax under the mature trees and enjoy the peace and quiet in the shade or take a sunnier pitch and soak up the sun in the heart of the Dordogne.

For those who are looking for sports activities you can enjoy the playground area with a tennis court, table tennis table, petanque area and basketball hoop.

Just a little further afield, only 15 minutes away you will find  the Dordogne river. You can swim, fish, canoe or  just spend an afternoon down by the riverbanks enjoying the atmosphere of this magnificent river that is at the heart of this region. 

Sarlat is only 10 minutes away from the site with its attractive squares and many restaurants. In high season, you can enjoy the evening markets and the street entertainment which this gorgeous town is so well known for.

Les Eyzies and the Dordogne Valley are easily accessible for a day out and the caves and attractive villages of this area are all within reach for a day out from the site.
