Why stay here ...

Like many of the sites in the Dordogne, Le Paradis is family run and has a relaxed, laid back feel. It’s ecologically friendly, with lots of green space that gives a sense of tranquillity, and there’s a strong focus on French culture, from the dishes served in the restaurant to the evening entertainment. Good English is spoken by the warm and friendly staff and children can enjoy organised games and activities.

The site’s location in the Vézère Valley means it’s well placed for local attractions such as the towns of Les Eyzies and Montignac. There’s also direct access to the river, making swimming and canoeing excursions convenient. Nearby La Roque Saint-Christophe, with its troglodyte dwellings, is also an interesting site.

A Green Oasis

Have just come back after spending 17 nights on this site. Its the best site that we have ever stayed on in France and as far as we have discovered, the only one to actively push for greener camping. The site is planted with flowers and there is a small... Show more

"Paradise" in the Dordogne Region

Wonderful site. We spent ten nights there in early June. Our second visit and was equally as enjoyable as the first time last year. It is one of the best sites we have ever stayed on in France and is rapidly becoming one of our all time favourites. Lovely pitches set... Show more

Beautiful green and flowery campsite

Stayed for 2 nights early June 2018. Such a beautiful and delightful campsite. Each pitch delineated by hedges and flowers. The whole site has a green emphasis and has been developed by the same Dutch family for the past 50 years from a bare field site. New flowers and hedges... Show more
