Why stay here ...

This site has a stunning position on a small island in the midst of the Dordogne river, and provides plenty for families including a pool and organised entertainment, shop and bar. The well-sized pitches are grassy and separated by hedges, with some offering views of the river.

The site's near 7 of France’s most beautiful villages and towns, including medieval Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne. It's just a short stroll away and offers a range of shops and restaurants. The site’s location also makes it a good stopover point for those travelling further south.

Surrounded by numerous medieval churches, villages and castles to visit, the impressive cliffside village of Rocamadour with its 20,000-year-old cave paintings and Sarlat-la-Canéda with its honey coloured buildings and bustling markets are a must. The Dordogne area also provides lots of opportunities for walking, cycling and canoeing.

What a gem! We paid extra for a river view pitch and it was worth every penny. We had a wonderful and peaceful outlook over the river where we watched the world go by. The site catered for all. Families with young children were well catered for but also if... Show more

Wet period rendered pitches muddy

In such a beautiful region, the storms and rainfall which dominated late May & early June left its mark and the River Dordogne was rather swollen during our overnight stay. Sadly by being there for a short visit, we were allocated a very uneven and muddy pitch. Getting our rig onto... Show more
