Why stay here ...
This laid-back site, set in the wooded grounds of a former hunting lodge, offers a peaceful and relaxing stay for young families and couples. Pitches are set in the old orchard and around the unfenced fishing lake, in which guests can fish for free (but fish must go back).
The owners are keen musicians and conduct music nights, talks and open mic events in the château for guests. Tours to a cider farm and a local distillery are organised in high season, as well as pony rides for children.
Guests will need a car to get to many of the main attractions nearby, which include Honfleur and the D-Day beaches. Pont l’Évêque has a rich history and some pretty houses and shops to discover, while to the south, nearby Lisieux has a magnificent cathedral and an interesting art and history museum.
