A small but well located, award winning family run site, which the owners take great pride in.
Perfectly located for keen walkers and cyclists to explore the beautiful surrounding countryside. With plenty of opportunities in the area to taste the local renowed cheeses, sparkling cider and the famous Calvados.
After recently having a refurbishment 'the Cowshed' the on site restaurant and bar, boasts some great food and a warm welcome any time you stay at the site.

St Martin-des-Besaces is located close to the A84 motorway (leave at exit 41 and follow signs to St Martin-des-Besaces. The site is well signposted at the far end of the village.

This site is perfect for being a first or last stop from the ferry crossing at Caen, just 45mins away. we also visited Bayeux from here which is a lovely town although very sobering with regard to the war graves. There is a small village within walking distance with a small grocery... Show more

We used this site for a 3 day stopover on our way back to the channel ports. It was easy to find, just a few km off the autoroute and easily accessible. We had a serviced pitch in zone C which was OK. Most of the pitches in this area... Show more
