Why stay here ...

Within easy distance of Calais and Dunkirk ports, this site is both a handy stopover and a convenient base for discovering the sights of the Somme. Families staying a little longer will find plenty to occupy them in high season, from a recently renovated pool complex and a games room to organised entertainment and mini-golf. The pitches are well-sized and private, being separated by hedges.

Nature enthusiasts and bird watchers will enjoy a trip to the Le Marquenterre reserve, which is visited by over 300 species during the course of the year. Surrounded by countryside and fields, the site is just 30 minutes from Abbeville, which suffered extensive damage during World War II and has some interesting monuments.

First Experience of Motor-home Site in

As the title suggests this was our first ever French site, so approached with an open mind. Initial impressions were positive, Staff very friendly and helpful, The pitch was a reasonable size, but it was peak season and very busy with families and all that brings. My wife currently works... lovely site

Follow directions given by site, otherwise you would have a very steep gradient to traverse. Arrived to gorgeous weather, unfortunately reception closed as they were on lunch so had to wait till 2pm. very helpful staff , plenty of local information. Allocated a pitch, but was definitely going to be tight... Show more

Our first stop on a tour of France over 2 weeks. Lovely site, excellent pitches and friendly staff and very helpful. The eating area a bit small but very nice. Recommend the take away Pizza very tasty and fresh. Will stay there again.

First stop over in France

This is our first trip abroad in our motorhome so was a little anxious about how I would find the site but was pleasantly surprised. We were greeted warmly, everything explained and given our pitch number. Grass pitch but with plenty of room. We only stayed one night. Facilities... Show more

Lovely Stay

Unacceptable Think again.

How the standards have fallen since we last stayed in 2005. We stayed on two separate occasions this year and in our experience, this is a poorly managed site both in staff and site management. (June 2018) I believe that the site management are only focused in selling and renting... Show more

Don't go there - stay in an Aire!

Stayed here for one night June 2018, and having read the previous review I thought it would have been a one off! How wrong were we! It may look grand on the website, but this isn't the case! Firstly the site we booked and paid for costing nearly £40 a... Show more

Dreadful, avoid this site

Worst site I have ever been to in France.  Only one chemical loo emptying point and that is a long way away from the pitches, and let's face it no one wants to walk right across a campsite with a cassette in tow!!  Not only that but the emptying point... Show more

Convenient but we wouldn't return

This was our first stopover after a lovely afternoon in Montreuil having travelled from Calais. There is virtually no signposting to help find your pitch, there are limited facilities for motorhomes and the roads are very bumpy to access the water and chemical toilet waste etc. The grass...
