Why stay here ...

Les 7 Iles enjoys a superb beachfront setting, facing towards the archipelago of 7 pretty islands that give the site its name. The islands are mainly inhabited nowadays by a great wealth of seabirds, and a boat trip around the islands is a must.

This is a friendly site with good sized pitches. Most are quite sandy, given the proximity of the beach, and have limited shade. There’s an attractive covered pool and a useful snack bar / restaurant, providing the opportunity to try some of the region’s excellent seafood.

Offsite, a walk along the enchanting Cote de Granit Rose is highly recommended. The pink granite glows in the sunshine and the coastal path offers breathtaking views at every turn. A short distance to the south, Perros-Guirec is a popular seaside resort with sandy beaches and an excellent range of amenities.

Around and About

Perros Guirec, Seafood restaurants, pretty villages, coastal footpaths (including GR34 long distance trail), aquarium, boat trips, sea fishing, planetarium, Armoripark leisure park Lannion, 7 Iles.

Lovely site in a stunning location

Les 7 Iles
A very basic site but in a stunning location; virtually on the beach overlooking the sea. The toilet facilities are a little basic. The ladies and gents are separate which may be preferred by some but the toilet block is basically a shed! The toilets themselves are a little primitive - the gents has two conventional toilets, the others are of the “hole in the ground” variety! There seems to be only two water taps for the whole site and the only chemical waste disposal is in the (ladies!) toilet or at the motorhome service point close to reception, along with the only indicated grey waste disposal point. Locating and connecting the electricity supply can also be a challenge! A long cable is needed and sometimes you have to pass these through hedges and across other pitches. We were expecting to find a covered pool as shown on the website but the cover seems to have been removed. One positive point is that the site has a bar/restaurant which was open daily (apart from Monday). This is probably because it is adjacent to a car park and is open to the public. The food was excellent! The area is beautiful! The surrounding beaches are gorgeous, the Port Town of Perros Guirec is within easy reach and a trip along the Corniche Bretonne towards Tregastel Plage and Trebeurden is definitely not to be missed! We adore this stretch of coastline and with white sandy beaches you could definitely be in the Caribbean - and have a beach to yourself! The staff on site are friendly efficient and helpful. The views from the site itself are stunning. The bay of the seven isles is gorgeous and the sunsets over the bay are some of the finest we’ve ever seen! Walking on the beach at low tide is a joy!! All in all, the slight issues with the site are more than compensated by the pluses!! In fact we’ll probably be back!! Also don’t miss the seafood!

Lack of facilities

Les 7 Iles
Lovely greeting at reception, very helpful on moving our pitch to larger one with friends. Only annoying thing is lack of water taps/ service points, there is just one at the entrance which gets busy, could really do with another further down the large site. The electric points are also well spaced so you need a very long cable. Showers hot but buildings are a bit tired. Little restaurant/bar with nice seating area. Would return if in the area.

Early Holiday

Les 7 Iles
We were very impressed with the site we had nice open pitches on the sea front which was good as we had friends travelling as well. There are more enclosed pitches with high hedges. The staff were very friendly and more than helpful, for example our electrical cable was not long enough to reach the supply so the person helping actually when out to a local shop to buy an extension. Weather was variable but to be expected at this time of the year, (May/June). The only thing that stops it being a five star in my opinion is the cold water supply. I found only one tap that supplied a constant cold water supply, ( rather than the press for a set amount), and this was in the laundry. The need to empty the soil waste in one location was an inconvenience but manageable. Take away was great although being early opening times were limited. The end of the holiday had the excitement of me and two other fellow campers aided by a member of staff taking down our awning in a force 9 gale. Overall we will be returning probably next year although we would hope for better weather.

Nice setting

Les 7 Iles
Nice restaurant serving good food. Nice pool and friendly staff. Water facilities not that good unless your near reception, you could have a long walk. Good pitches with a lovely view if your on the front overlooking the sea. Some great walks especially when the tide is out. Lots of things to see and do around the area. Showers and toilet facilities are basic. WiFi is expensive if you don’t go to the reception area.
