Why stay here ...
A family owned site close to the village of Neydens set against a backdrop of mountains, La Colombière is a friendly and attractive base from which to explore this stunning region. It has spacious, level pitches separated by fruit trees and flowering shrubs, and excellent, well-kept facilities including an indoor pool, bar and restaurant. The English-speaking owners have a vineyard nearby, and a bottle of their produce can be sampled in the on-site restaurant.
Buses to Annecy and Geneva can be caught at the stop just 800m from the site. Annecy is enchanting with its lakeside setting and colourful buildings. The 16th century Château d’Annecy is a highlight, with its artistic and historical exhibitions. Chamonix can also be reached in an hour, and you can ascend the Aiguille du Midi for spectacular views of the Alps from here.
