Why stay here ...

Located 20kms south of Prague this rural campsite surrounded by green fields is a quiet oasis and ideally placed for exploring the Czech capital and the surrounding area. The campsite is family run by Pavel and his wife and has a friendly, peaceful atmosphere and good facilities that caters to families in the holidays and is popular with international visitors. It is conveniently located with supermarkets and small towns nearby.

Adults can relax in the Jacuzzi or spa while the children will enjoy the outdoor and indoor pools open in high season, trampolines and play areas. After a day’s exploring, enjoy a meal in the onsite restaurant that serves a varied selection of traditional Czech meals, plus daily specials.

A bus stops right outside the site and connects to the tram into the centre of Prague. The city centre is bustling and busy with lots to see, wander the old town streets and soak in the colourful Baroque buildings and the Gothic churches. In the historically renowned 12th Century 'Old Town Square' check out the medieval astronomical clock that gives an animated hourly show.

The 14th Century Karlstejn castle is also worth visiting along with the St Charles Bridge that crosses over the river and gives fabulous views of the city. There is even the mini train and individual open topped cars to hire to whizz you around the sights and plenty of restaurants and cafes to rest the weary legs.

Summer tour 2012

Oase Praha
We visited this site as part of our Mini tour of Europe staying for a week.  The site was clean well maintained with friendly helpful staff.  There are good facilities for younger children and for us with teenagers it was an ideal base to visit Prague and the surrounding country side plus castles.  The camp restaurant is very good with a nice selection and generally a special each night very reasonably priced.  A bus stops outside the camp taking you to the tram stop for Prague the cost of the bus and tram is about £1.30 each way and takes about an hour.  Supermarkets are 10 minutes drive and there is a good flumed swimming complex 15 minutes away.  I was impressed with the electronic technology used in the facilities which is governed by the gate pass. We enjoyed the country and camp and may well be back at a later date.

Fantastic site

Oase Praha
Excellent site for visiting the beautiful city of Prague. Good spacious pitches and clean facilities, even had a dishwasher in the kitchen area. Just outside the site there is a bus which can get you to the tram to take you into Prague. Tickets are purchased from the machine on the site. Good for families but also quiet. Would highly recommend this site for visiting Prague. Will definitely visit again.

Excellent site

Oase Praha
This site was very similar to a caravan club site. It had excellent facilities and a very good restaurant. The site is in a rural location but was very easy to get in to Prague via bus and tram.
