Located 20kms south of Prague this rural campsite surrounded by green fields is a quiet oasis and ideally placed for exploring the Czech capital and the surrounding area. The campsite is family run by Pavel and his wife and has a friendly, peaceful atmosphere and good facilities that caters to families in the holidays and is popular with international visitors. It is conveniently located with supermarkets and small towns nearby.
Adults can relax in the Jacuzzi or spa while the children will enjoy the outdoor and indoor pools open in high season, trampolines and play areas. After a day’s exploring, enjoy a meal in the onsite restaurant that serves a varied selection of traditional Czech meals, plus daily specials.
A bus stops right outside the site and connects to the tram into the centre of Prague. The city centre is bustling and busy with lots to see, wander the old town streets and soak in the colourful Baroque buildings and the Gothic churches. In the historically renowned 12th Century 'Old Town Square' check out the medieval astronomical clock that gives an animated hourly show.
The 14th Century Karlstejn castle is also worth visiting along with the St Charles Bridge that crosses over the river and gives fabulous views of the city. There is even the mini train and individual open topped cars to hire to whizz you around the sights and plenty of restaurants and cafes to rest the weary legs.
