Why stay here ...

Located on the convergence of the Adriatic and the River Cetina, this attractive campsite benefits from a superb rocky backdrop which reflects the magnificent sunsets in oranges and reds. Its position makes it the ideal place to take advantage of a range of water sports including jet skiing, surfing and kayaking, with a large beach for guests.

The level touring pitches benefit from some shade provided by mature trees, with several pitches offering views of the offshore island of Brac. The site has a good restaurant and pizzeria, while there’s more bars and restaurants in Omis, 800m away.

An afternoon can be pleasantly spent exploring the local shops at Omis, and regular buses to Split depart from the road outside the campsite. Here visitors can explore the fortress-like complex of Diocletian's Palace (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), amidst the white walls of Croatia’s second largest city.

Very average indeed and dirty facilities

(August 2024) Very dissappointed with the standard of cleanliness on this site as mentioned in most if not all of the other reviews. The location is perfect. Pitches are flat and on grass. Walks in either direction are very nice either along the coast line or into Omis. That's the... Show more

Four Night Break

This was our fifth site on our European Tour. The three previous sites were privately owned and had their own "surprises"; but after leaving Venice we arrived at Omis. The site is flat and under a canopy of trees. It stretches out from the road right onto the beach. We... Show more

Location superb, facilities tired

In terms of location it’s lovely. The town of Omis should not be missed and is an easy walk away - 10/15 mins. It’s a small town and the old part beautiful. There’s also a bus directly opposite the site which goes to Split - another must see. Dotted along... Show more

Very average

We stayed here early May 2019. Check in was efficient and the staff we're good. Our pitch was in a poor state. Weeds were knee high and there was an open trench running right across it. We complained and it was dealt with immediately. The site has... Show more

Lovely location right on the beach

This site was not very busy (May) and we were allocated a great pitch, virtually on the beach. I would say what grass there was was pretty rough, but there was water in a covered trap on the pitch, the toilet facilities were spotless (I saw lots of evidence of... Show more

Good for a short stop

we stayed here as a base to explore the local area. The pitches are large and clearly marked out but there is no space between them. we have a small van so this wasn't a problem, we had plenty of space outside. IF you have a very large van and... Show more

Could be better

This site has a lot of potential but seem to be focusing on static cabins. The camping pitches seem to have been neglected. The grass (such as it was) was not cut at all during our stay and was therefore long and unsightly. The sanitary blocks were a bit dated but... Show more

Disappointing

Location: Site well signposted off the D8 close to the edge of Ormis.  Medium sized site with 350 pitches of varying sizes from 70 m sq to 120 m sq. We used this as an overnight halt but didn’t want to stay for any longer. Sanitary facilities are reasonably well... Show more
