Definitely a resort rather than a campsite.

Zaton Holiday Resort
Our family of four stayed here early August 2019. Its a huge site and as expected very busy. However very well maintained and surprisingly quiet. Lots to do on site, good quality restaurants and the beach area (crowded) was pleasant and good for swimming. Pool complex great but too busy to properly use when we went in afternoon and there was a charge for loungers/umbrellas which seemed mean given the high cost to camp here and the lack of any other seating. Children really liked it but if you want to experience some Croatian culture and authenticity then you will need to go beyond the boundary of the resort. We all really enjoyed the trip to the village and beaches of Nin.

Zaton Holiday Resort
We stayed at this site May 2019. It's a very large site with a massive man made beach front. Very shallow waters with every kind of water sport's you could want. Check in was fast and efficient your pitch is pre allocated and some can be a distance from sanitary blocks. However these are very good and clean. This site has very good facilities shops bar restaurants all on site. Ideal for families with kids of all ages but not for us a couple in their late fifties. There is no bus ftom the site to Zadar you have to walk into Nin to catch a bus, so not ideal. Large site great facilities, well organised, clean beach front. If this is what you like.
