Plitvice Holiday Resort is situated on the main A1 Zagreb road only 8 kms from the stunning Plitvice Lakes National Park - A stunning Unesco World Heritage site consisting of a chain of 16 terraced lakes joined by waterfalls accessed by well maintained walkways and boats. It's simply just stunning and should not be missed on any trip to Croatia.
Lots of sporting activities around the area also include zip wires/kayaking/horse riding and are all nearby the site.
This delightful small site has been recently developed and it now boasts a fabulous 3 tiered outdoor pool including a lovely pool bar and outdoor terrasse to sunbathe on after a trek around the lakes.
There has been a second sanitary block built at the top of the pool area and the chemical toilet /service area /Dog shower are now just at the front of the site to the left of the restaurant accessible on foot past the barrier or to drive into.
The restaurant is very popular and has great local dishes and also serves a buffet style breakfast and there is a well stocked shop next to it.

Quiet spacious site. Three small interlinked pools - more for a dip than a swim. There are now no free sun loungers (they are all locked up) - they now charge extra (€5 each) which seems a bit mean- so people take their own chairs or sit on the floor.... Show more

We came here to visit the national park, which is an easy 5 miles away. The park is stunning, well worth a visit. About £20 entry which includes boardwalks, boat and train ride. Catering available and I believe you can take picnics. The site is undergoing building work, l think... Show more

Nice, modern, well maintained site close to the stunning Plitvice National Park. She is a mix of camping, motorhomes, caravans and self catering apartments. A great site very well placed for easy access to the Plitvice Lakes National Park. A bus stops right outside the site. Good cycling once you get off the main road. Very well maintained site good facilities, restaurant and bar serves its purpose descent food at... Show more
