This is what all campsites should aspire to!

The location and facilities of Grubhof are second to none, combined with professional staff who make you feel you are staying in a 5 * Hotel. All campsites after this experience will be disappointing unfortunately! Also, never heard one barking dog!

Just perfect.

Arrival is from 1pm however we did see the occasional person arrive earlier. Upon arriving you sense you are at somewhere special, maybe it's the mountains that encircle the area. Check in is easy, you need your passports. You get free local travel/excursion cards which is useful. Locating your pitch is easy... Show more

En route to Vienna

Stayed here for 4 nights in June having left Lech on route to Vienna. Facilities were the best I've experienced - great toilets and showers, (small) on site shop and restaurant. Next to a river with fantastic woods and mountains around. Great location to visit Salzburg and Berchtesgaden as well... Show more

Top Quality Site

I would endorse the 5 star rating that others have given this site. The hard standing pitches, all with electricity, water and drainage, make life easy and all face on to grass. The site requests that one does not walk on other people’s frontage, awnings were expected to be erected... Show more

This is one of the best sites we have visited. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The pitches are a good size and are fully serviced. The site is divided into areas for people with dogs, families or couples. Other sites should follow this layout. ... Show more

Probably One of the Best Sites in Europe

I had seen many positive reviews for this site and it did not disappoint on any level. Approaching from Zell am See the entrance is well signposted on the right just on the outskirts of Lofer. Stop before the barrier and check in at reception where the staff speak excellent... Show more

Perfect? Almost.

Nothing to add about the site - A1 rated in every way; only negative at all was the fact that our pitch was a bit grass-bare but it was near the end of the season when we stayed there in late August. Huge amount to do in this beatiful... Show more
