Day 1 – Arrive at Camping Valkenburg-Maastricht
Settle in to your campsite and meet your Tour Hosts and fellow tourers over a welcome drink.
Day 2 – The Christmas Markets of Cologne
Enjoy a coach excursion to the German city of Cologne, famed for its gothic architecture, impressive cathedral and views across the river Rhine. Explore the many markets at your own pace with plenty of free time to shop and soak up the atmosphere.
Day 3 – Valkenburg Caves and Christmas parade
Take the public bus to the nearby town of Valkenburg and spend a day taking in the festivities of the town and its magical market caves. In the evening, the excitement continues with the town’s famous Christmas parade.
Day 4 – Free day to enjoy at your leisure
Today you are free to do what you like. Why not relax at the campsite, or perhaps head further afield to Aachen, Germany to browse the Christmas market there?

Day 5 – André Rieu at Christmas
Today is largely free but in the evening, you will experience Christmas with André Rieu with a spectacular concert at the Maastricht Exhibition & Conference Centre. Soak in the festive cheer and celebration
Day 6 - Free day at your leisure
Today is a free day to recover from the follies of the night before. You may like to head back into Valkenburg for some last minute Christmas shopping. There is also a second chance to catch the parade if you missed it the first time.
Day 7 - Depart campsite
Time to head home after a memorable few days.
