SelectaDNA is a forensic marking system specifically useful for protecting caravans, motorhomes and camping equipment from theft. It involves applying a synthetic DNA solution to key areas of the vehicle as well as the contents inside such as laptops, phones, tools, bikes and more. Each SelectaDNA kit contains a unique, traceable code linked to the owner. Though invisible to the naked eye, it can be detected with ultraviolet (UV) light. If a marked caravan or motorhome is stolen and later recovered, police can analyse the DNA markings to confirm the rightful owner.
