Heritage narrow gauge steam railway linking the coastal village of Ravenglass to the Eskdale Valley at the foot of England's highest mountains. Excellent facilities at both ends of the line, choice carriages including 1st class and observation carriages. Well-behaved dogs are welcome on board all trains (except the Pullman Obersavtion Carriage 'Joan') for a small charge and are also allowed in some of the buildings.
