The outgoing Korando is a purposeful alternative to more mainstream competitors and its 2.2 litre diesel engine is efficient and powerful. The car develops 178PS at 4000rpm and 400Nm of torque between 1400 and 2800rpm giving a wide spread of power – enough whether towing, off-roading or heading to the supermarket. In towing, Korando’s sturdy construction and strong engine performance give a two-tonne towing capacity across the range. With maximum kerb weights of between 1725 and 1775KG Korando offer caravanners an 85 percent ratio of over 1500KG – enough to comfortably tow most vans.
