Experience Freedom introduces new glamping accommodation

28/06/2021

Experience Freedom from the Caravan and Motorhome Club has added safari tents and yurts to its campsite in the heart of the Cotswolds and yurts to its site on the North Yorkshire Coast, meaning it now offers more accommodation options than ever before. Plus, for those who fancy a road trip, it has started working with a new campervan and motorhome hire partner to offer rental vehicles that can be picked up from London, Edinburgh or Dublin.

Experience Freedom is also pleased to offer universally accessible glamping accommodation at two of its most popular campsites that still have good availability for stays this year.

New glamping accommodation

Safari tents

Following the popularity of the new safari tents at Experience Freedom’s Southland campsite on the Isle of Wight, two are now available at the Moreton-in-Marsh campsite in the Cotswolds.

Offering a comfortable double bed, two single beds and one overhead bed, the safari tents sleep up to five people and are perfect for families. The tents also feature basic kitchen facilities plus outdoor seating and a BBQ station. They start from £59 per night, based on a two-night minimum stay.

Yurts

Yurts will be opening soon at both the Moreton-in-Marsh campsite in the Cotswolds and at the Cayton Village campsite on the North Yorkshire Coast.

Featuring a rustic timber double bed and two full sized single beds, one of which becomes a sofa during the day, they are great for couples or families of up to four. The yurts also feature basic kitchen facilities plus outdoor seating and a BBQ station. They start from £49 per night, based on a two-night minimum stay.

Universally accessible glamping

Experience Freedom offers universally accessible glamping accommodation that is stylish and suitable for guests with or without disabilities. The units include features such as level entry, wide doors, 1.5m turning circles and a fully adapted ensuite wet room with shower and toilet.

Experience Freedom’s Cayton Village campsite features one accessible glamping pod (sleeping up to 2 adults and 1 child), and one accessible glamping cabin (sleeping up to 3 adults and 2 children), while the Troutbeck Head campsite in the Lake District has one accessible glamping pod. The glamping pods start from £59 per night and glamping cabins are priced from £69 per night, based on a minimum two-night stay.
