Escape for some winter sun in Spain with the Caravan and Motorhome Club that has limited spaces left on its hosted long stay winter sun programme. Two adults can have up to six weeks in Spain and a return ferry crossing with P&O Dover-Calais for just £858 in a motorhome.

The following hosted campsites have been hand-picked as the best winter sun destinations in Spain for a long stay 8 January to 17 March next year.

La Manga - From £12.25** per night

This campsite and its beach setting sits on the Mar Menor Lagoon, a resort-style location for an active holiday. Guests can make use of the indoor swimming pool, tennis courts, beach volleyball, water sports activities, gym and more. Half of the site is arranged on gravel and surrounded by hedging – ideal for privacy, while the other half of the site has a number of cabins for rent.

Alannia Costa Blanca – From £14.50** per night

There are nearly 200 large pitches for members at this superb campsite, which is located 25 minutes from the nearest beach and 40 minutes from Alicante city. Guests can access one free gym and pool session, which is included per week during their stay, they can also take advantage of the large clubhouse for events and activities. The outdoor Plaza Bar is a popular place to socialise and the restaurant serves excellent food and often provides evening entertainment. Tourers will also have access to the campsite’s own supermarket, hairdressing salon and medical service. Alannia Costa Blanca is a great base for trips to Murcia or Benidorm. 

Vilanova Park – From £15** per night

The hosts will welcome a smaller group for a more intimate break at Vilanova Park near Barcelona. First-class facilities include a lovely pool complex and wellness centre with a gym, sauna and whirlpool. With a strong emphasis on social activities, the campsite offers free aqua gym classes Monday to Friday, salsa classes and bingo nights. Evenings can be spent dining in the beautifully restored Catalan restaurant and bar. The campsite is a good base for trips to the likes of Tarragona and Sitges.
