Book your perfect winter tour from Andalucia to Marrakech

Tourers looking to escape the cold this winter can consider the Andalucia to Marrakech hosted holiday tour with the Caravan and Motorhome Club. The new 21-night escorted touring holiday takes place in the exotic red city of Marrakech, the rocky terrain of the Agafay Desert and the surfing resort of Essaouira, departing on 2 February 2025, from only £1,849* for two adults.

Morocco is the ideal destination for a winter holiday, boasting warm temperatures in February around 20-25°C, full of colours, sandy beaches and vast deserts. Its blend of Arab, Berber, African and European cultures make it exotic, with very welcoming people.

The tour starts out with an overnight stay in Rio Jara Campsite in Tarifa, Spain, before departing as a group to Morocco via ferry from Algeciras to Tangier, with a one-night stopover in Mehdia. Upon arriving in Marrakech, tourers will enjoy 18 nights at the Le Relais Marrakech, a charming campsite nestled in the northern suburbs, surrounded by olive and palm trees. The campsite includes an outdoor swimming pool, bar and restaurant.

During the stay, tourists can explore Marrakech at their own pace, with the chance to visit many museums and an array of restaurants. The campsite is only a 10-minute drive to the old town where tourers can experience the hustle and bustle of the souks and explore the ancient architecture.  

Tourers will also enjoy three full-day excursions, including a visit to Essaouira, to experience the captivating coastal town while exploring its historic port, bustling seafood markets, dazzling jewellery quarter and the vibrant Moulay El Hassan Square. The next excursion includes the Ourika Valley and Atlas Mountains where an English-speaking tour guide will give tourers the chance to experience true Berber village life and the chance to discover fruit orchards, vegetable terraces and hillside villages. The rocky Agafay Desert is also not one to miss, with enchanting, panoramic views and an unforgettable adventure that includes a camel ride.

The price for the tour includes 21 campsite nights in Spain and Morocco, return ferry crossings from Spain to Tangier, three full-day excursions with lunch, tour hosts with caravanning experience in Morocco and experienced tour experts.
