Grafham Water Club Campsite is a peaceful, six acre oasis where you can relax and unwind. Located a mere 0.5 mile west of picturesque Grafham village in Huntingdon, the caravan park is ideal those who enjoy a slow wander in charming settings. It is also a short walk to Grafham Water, popular as an international centre for trout fishing, windsurfing and major sailing events.

Boasting green, level pitches, Grafham Water Club Campsite also has at its centre a 350-year old cottage, once owned by the Oliver Cromwell family. Part of the moat that surrounded the estate still exists, providing an excellent haven for local wildlife, especially our family of ducks. For those who like some energetic fun, cycling, horse riding, tennis, golf and carting are just some of the activities near the caravan site to keep you entertained. For those interested in history, the nearby Imperial War Museum, Duxford Air Museum, is well worth a visit.

Peacefull very small site, ideal for a weekend but not great for kids.

Grafham Water Club Campsite
This is a perfect site for a weekend getaway with lovely walks direct from site. Grafham water is a lovely circa 10 mile circular walk. The site only has one facilities block, but with the site being so small, this is all it needs. Cleaning of these faculties happens only once per day 10:30am-12noon and evening checks should be considered to ensure all toilets are topped up with toilet tissue as this can be a problem. There is no play area for children at this site, so families could find it difficult to keep kids entertained. Other than this, a lovely little site and worth a visit.

Excellent Site

Grafham Water Club Campsite
This is one of the sites we visit most frequently. The location is good with easy walks directly from the site and interesting places to visit nearby. The site is very well maintained and we can almost always expect a quiet and peaceful time at Grafham. We were very grateful for the help and understanding we received from the staff when our dog was unwell. Thank you.

Well kept and well maintained

Grafham Water Club Campsite
We were visiting this site on our return from the Cotswolds. We come from just the other side of Huntingdon. What a gem! This site is well maintained and well kept by the wardens who do a magnificent job. The site is a short drive to Grafham Water where you can enjoy a day on or by the water. Easy to access from both the A1 and A14. The site is quiet and peaceful. There is a chip van comes in on a Friday. Well recommended. They were delicious. The wardens are friendly and knowledgable. The facilities kept clean and tidy. Nearby supermarkets at Huntingdon ( Tesco, Aldi,Lidl, Sainsbury’s.). The town centre has a mixture of shops but is also historical.

Rural Delight - Paulol

Grafham Water Club Campsite
Our home is in the neighbouring county of Northamptonshire and quite close to the Grafham Water Site so it is an easy tow with our touring caravan and within half an hour we can be pitching up on site and literally in a different world. We visit this site at least once every year and have found the wardens to be affable to their guests and very able in looking after this welcoming site. It is not necessary to travel huge distances to be 'away' on holiday and on this occasion our 4 night stay was not enough. There is much to do and see in the immediate area with quiet lanes to cycle or field paths for the walker, a 6 mile circuit visiting the neighbouring village of Easton is easy to plan with an OS Pathfinder map or your portable GPS device. The St Ives Park & Ride service only 14 miles from the site offers a convenient way to reach Cambridge and all its attractions on the guided bus system, a quite unique experience. If you like to dine out at affordable prices the Mermaid Inn at Ellington is under three miles away and you are sure to receive a warm welcome. There is so much to explore in the area from this quiet, well managed site and we will be back next year for certain

One of the best.

Grafham Water Club Campsite
Loved our stay at this site. The wardens in charge were very friendly and helpful. The facilities are the cleanest we have ever seen them and all pitches were extremely well kept. The little shed shares lots of helpful information, places to go and things to do. A short cycle ride to the cafe at Grafham Water Visitors Centre or the community pub where we were made to feel welcome too. Thank you. Hope to see you again!
