Lost bracelets

This story happened on: 03/07/2012

Whilst staying at Clumber Park Site my wife went for her daily shower. Later that day she realised that she must have left her bracelets in the cubicle. As it was late the reception area was closed and so she had to wait until the following morning before going to see if anyone had handed them in. Imagine her delight when she discovered that someone had indeed passed them to the wardens for safe keeping and they were duly returned. She was unable to thank the finder as she had left the site so the warden telephoned her and passed on grateful thanks. One of the bracelets was of deep sentimental value as I gave it to my wife more than 27 years ago. You hear so much these days about how people are more dishonest than perhaps they were in the past and so we were both heartened by the honesty displayed by the finder of the bracelets. We can't thank them enough. Gordon of Withernsea
