The season draws to a close

This story happened on: 14/03/2017

Returned this week after 9 nights at Merrose Farm, had some amazing weather, it was fine most of the time, better than summer.  Rather sad on Sunday night there being only one motorhome and one caravan, ours on site, it was rather a ghost town.  Still the site wardens carried on doing an amazing job, but with their eye on a few months off, this is our third visit to this site this year, and as ever it was at a great standard, and they are a very friendly team.

The season started for us this year in March at Carnon Downs, an affiliate site adjacent to Truro, again great place and great staff.  We have been to Brecon Beacons, Hurn Lane, Wood Farm, Wooda Farm, Ramslade, Hillhead, and at every place we think what great sites the club has, brought about by amazing locations and brilliant teams of people who run them, so can i say a big thank you to you all for the 50 plus nights we have spent away in the Coachman.

After some 43 years membership, i still think it is the most amazing pastime, being able to get away from it all, yet to still be in your own surroundings.  I guess we really enjoy the lifestyle and the high standards provided by the Club.  The caravan is now away for the winter but looking forward to 6th December to make next years bookings
