Longleat Safari Park

This story happened on: 10/06/2014

Not long back from our week long tour where thanks to a school inset day we were able to stay for 2 nights at the Longleat Club site, lucky with the weather and a brilliant site sitting vertually next door to Longleat house. Here are some pictures from that day.

We are in a motor home and have booked to stay at the site next week. We wish to visit the Safari park but obviously do not want to drive around the park ourselves. Is there a bus for "foot passengers"?

Fantastic CC site, and 10 out of 10 for the CCstaff, but having used the site as a stopover on the way back from devon (intending to go to longleat) we were disappointed that Longleat A) felt that a 16 year old is an adult price... and B) we were not paying £125 (with discount) for a one day visit (extortionate price)....decided to travel into bath and probably spent £40 and had a great day out elsewhere.

Yes its a very nice site. Spent a week there so I could see everything instead of rushing. Well worth it and everything on the doorstep.

We are taking our 2 Grandchildren (5 and 2) on their first ever caravan trip at the end of July for 6 nights, choose Longleat because of its great writeups, lets hope it lives up to them (have every confidence it will), we are in Newport CC site at the moment and has a separate room for showering young children, do you know if Longleat CC has one of these

Having stayed at Longleat Site many times we do know it has a family room with bath etc hope this helps.

Have stayed many times at Longleat over the years and seen many changes, not all for the best, but are returning again in late April with friends who have never been, lets hope its still as good as before.
