Well Done The Caravan Club HQ

We booked to visit Lleithyr Meadow 18/08/12 to depart BH Monday however the day before we were due to visit I had a phone call from the Warden at Lleithyr Meadow explaining that due to the heavy rain and the condition of the site it may be advisable to postpone our arrival until Tuesday, he was very apologetic and bearing in mind we know the area well we decided to book into Broadway Site (one of our favourite weekend away sites) and give the Warden a ring on Monday.  Unfortunately Lleithyr Meadow had not improved and more rain was forecast so we had to cancel our visit.  It did leave us in a difficult situation as we were committed to our holiday dates re work and with no access to the internet we decided to contact The Caravan HQ and spoke to Linda, she was fantastic, asked us where we would like to go and looked at the sites availablilty for us (bearing in mind we are talking about BH weekend), eventually she found one around The Gower we hadn't visited for 10 yrs or more, Linda booked us in and we had a fabulous holiday, lucky with the weather too.  Thanks to Linda and The Caravan Club, East Grinstead.
