Challenge 91 - Collect five items from the outside, put them in a bag
and challenge your family to guess what they are.

This was a great outdoor game and excellent way to explore the caravan
site or local area. Armed with bags, the girls quickly disappeared on
their mission to find five items. When they returned, we each took it
in turns to delve our hands into the bags and feel around inside to
work out what the items were. Not surprisingly, the bags contained
similar items but Ella’s were much more difficult to identify. Each
bag contained natural objects such as beech nut cases, twigs, stones
and flowers (various types – these were difficult to identify since
they all felt the same!). We all made guesses as to what the items
were and once everyone had had a go the bags were tipped out and the
items revealed – we didn’t do too badly.

This was a popular challenge because it involved us all. I’m sure we
will play this again and I like the potential it has; you could add
rules about what the items inside were (e.g. all man-made, all blue,
all beginning with the letter…) and of course if the weather is bad
and you’re stuck for something to do indoors, you could always choose
items from inside instead of outdoors.
