#XploreMore 2014 - Task 67: Cook something on the BBQ – but no meat allowed!

It’s the summer so there are BBQs everywhere! Most of the caravans around us seem to have gas BBQs as part of their expected equipment and someone is outside cooking the meat for the evening meal or the bacon for the morning sandwich. We haven’t purchased a BBQ yet and admit to only having had one so far this year. Tim and I are both vegetarian so the infamous BBQ does not have the same appeal.

We completed this challenge in France. Having arrived in the Chateau du Ganspette site, we stocked up at the local supermarket and then returned home for a quick swim and our BBQ. We sat around the smoking BBQ on the grass near our caravan and cooked our own vegetable kebabs.  We then ate them accompanied by French bread and a range of salads.
