#XploreMore 2014 - task 34 - Follow a map

This story happened on: 29/05/2014

This challenge is about following a route using only a map. We made it more fun by turning it into a treasure hunt.

It's never too cold or too wet to do a treasure trail, which is great because it certainly was wet and cold today. Don't worry about the map getting wet - this adds to the challenge!

The map we used was kindly supplied by the Warden at the site office. It was designed to be used to find your pitch but we simply added a couple of extra things onto the key to make it a teasure hunt map.

We added:

> a lineĀ  = the route to be followed
> X = the treasure (of course)

Friends we have made at the site enjoyed this activity with us, and we found the treasure (a chocolate bar) hidden in a bush.

"It's never too cold or too wet to do a treasure trail." Great advice Amy and Ella and I completely agree!

Glad you and your friends had fun on your treasure trail and I hope you enjoyed the chocolate! Smile
