#XploreMore 2014 - Task 31Pack the caravan and take it to a public weighbridge and record its weight

This story happened on: 03/09/2014

On our way from Warwick to the Chapel Lane Biodiversity site near Birmingham, we stopped off at the Trading Standards public weighbridge.

It was fascinating. We had to first call for someone to come and open the office. We then saw the displays showing the individual weights for both axles of our van, and the axle of the caravan.

The combined weight of our van and the Elddiss Xplore 574 was 3620 Kg That's quite a weight, isn't it? (being newbies to caravanning, we don't actually know if it is!)

We didn't need a printout (I just took a photo and we jotted down the combined weight), so it didn't cost us anything :)
