#XploreMore 2014 - Task 12 - Play board games in the Xplore

After a long spell of sunshine and warm weather, the rain has arrived in Northumberland. Rather than don the waterproofs and head off to explore the Kielder walkways we stayed in for the afternoon.

As the rain trickled down the windows, we opened up the monopoly board and played a family game, which ended up lasting over 2 hours! Amy demonstrated good business skills, buying up many streets and building up houses and hotels that meant we had large rental bills to pay out for.

Looks like it's one to Amy.

We'll have to see who wins the next game before we decide who wins the league and chooses dinner.
