Tourer Explorer News

This story happened on: 26/02/2015

This is the year for Tourer Explorer, officially launched at the NEC Caravan, Camping and Motorhome show. We were lucky enough to be there on the opening day to share in the excitement. At the show, two Tourer Explorer characters were wandering around the Caravan Club stand, high-fiving passers by, colouring in pictures with young children and welcoming people onto the stand. The characters appeared in the Club magazine a few months ago and a competition was run to name them. The names were revealed at the show by Matt Baker: Andy Venture and Holly Day. We will no doubt be seeing and hearing a lot more about them in the coming months.

Children at Caravan Club sites are already familiar the Tourer Explorer magazines; our girls have enjoyed the activity packs and trails offered at various sites across the country and like many have collected the different coloured snap bracelets that indicate their success at trails.

There are officially 65 Club sites that are designated as Tourer Explorer sites where children can complete activities from the booklets, trails, 'play day' events and spend pocket money on small items such as pens, rubbers etc. Children enjoy exploring and getting outdoors; the booklet and related events help provide ideas and encourage our younger generation to get out and GO DO more.
