Family Insight into Bridlington Caravan Club Site:

We leave Bridlington as the 'weather bomb' is about to hit the west coast of England. It was a bumpy night but it's the worst weather we've had over the last week. We've had quite mild weather for the time of year and have enjoyed beautiful mornings, colourful sunrises and misty views over the surrounding countryside.
The Bridlington Caravan site has been very quiet, although an influx of caravans and motorhomes appeared over the weekend. I imagine it must be bustling during the summer. Although named Bridlington CC site, it sits on the outskirts of the city and feels more like being in the countryside or a small village. The village of Malton is a short walk away where the Martonian pub came highly recommended.
Our week here was a quiet one; we enjoyed morning jogs to the nearby Danes Dyke, walks along the beach and a visit to Flamborough lighthouse. We look forward to returning later in the year to appreciate all the attractions nearby.

The village is actually Marton, not Malton which is quite a long way from there for those who are unaware. Glad you enjoyed your stay in East Yorkshire, the UK home of David Hockney no less. Regards, Roy
