Hawes Club Site

We arrived in Hawes after a lovely trip through the Yorkshire countryside, passing through villages still flying the TDF banners and welcome signs - we were probably travelling considerably slower than when the cyclists did a few weeks ago

After setting up, we headed down to the river that runs along the edge of the site. The idea was to let the dog have a cool down, but we all ended up having a paddle - see pic!

Hawes CC is a lovely site - compact but not cramped... and really well maintained. The Warden is really friendly too :)

We're really looking forward to 3 days exploring the area, and eating some Wendsleydale Cheese :)
