Calling any Cotswold Windrush Owners

This story happened on: 28/04/2013

New to the club together forum, would love to hear from any fellow cotswold windrush owning members. We have two, a 13 footer and a 15 foot Celeste. Both are used regular, we have owned the smaller for about 17 years and it is in great condition. The Celeste is a couple of years younger, but needed some work to bring it up to scratch. Both are fully used, all four seasons and we really live in them using our own facilities, as we prefer small sites and cl's. We are not greedy, we leave our biggy in Cornwall and fly up and down van free, using our smaller van as a proper tourer when we go elsewhere. Both vans together cost us less than a large awning!

We are usually the oldest caravan on site, but chuckle at all the massive behemoths around us wondering how that all important resale price can be maintained.

Sure there will be vans older than ours in regular use. Great to hear some "classic van" stories.

Oh the deep joy of spending little, mending it yourself and having just what you want from a van!

Hi takethedogalong

I'm sure you will get a better response to this article if you repost it into the caravan area on the discussion section of the forum.

This area is really for stories rather than asking questions or looking for advice.

Personally I always like seeing "classic" models on site that are obviously cherished - its nice to remember the times gone by.

New to all of this, just browsing the site and trying to get used to it.  All I have done is signed in,  I think when I joined I was asked to give a user name? Fledgeling is our user name.
