A very big thank you to all

This story happened on: 28/05/2014

Whilst recently staying on The Chatsworth Estate site at Baslow with my wife and dog Sam I was very badly injured by a herd of cows with calves on the Estate whilst walking back to the site form Baslow. I was airlifted to Sheffield Northern General Hospital where I was opperated on and placed on life support. I would like in particular   to thank the Wardens Sara and her husband who were absolutely brilliant. They took our dog who was also injured into their care until my wife was able to return from the hospital, even lending lending her a sat nav to find  her way to the hospital.

I would also like to say a big thank you to our very good friends Jo and Duncan who were h olidaying with us and to people staying on the site at the time. They  rallied round and gave my wife a tremendous amount of support.

Hello Chris,

I am sorry to hear about your awful experience and injuries. I hope you and your dog are recovering well. We are staying on the Chatsworth site at the moment, and we have a dog, so thanks for sharing the warning about the cows with calves.

Best wishes to you, your wife and your dog, Sam.

I'm so sorry to hear of your horrible experience and I'm pleased that the wardens were able to offer their help and support. I hope you and Sam are recovering well and send you my best wishes.
