River Breamish CC Site

This story happened on: 11/10/2013

We visited the River Breamish Caravan Club Site in September this year and were mightily impressed; The site itself is very quiet (except for the Canadian Geese!!) and laid out in such a way that you only see six or seven other caravans all the rest being hidden by well matured trees or bushes.  The facilities are also probably one of the best laid out that we have seen, all from one central hallway, brilliant and very clean. I would like to see this layout in all the CC sites but that is probably asking too much.  The wardens were very friendly and helpful, genuinely not forced, which made a great difference to our stay.  There is so much to see and do around this area you will not be hunting to find things to do; with the countryside being quite majestic it is just fantastic.  We enjoy visiting National Trust Properties and there are plenty to choose from plus Hadrian’s Wall is within a reasonable drive from the site.  I would certainly recommend this site to anyone.
