Day Five: Scottish Caravan Tour

This story happened on: 07/02/2013

The day started with me packing up my Bailey Orion, Green Goddess, for the last time on this tour and driving just 20 minutes from the Strathclyde Country Park Club site to the SECC. It was an honour to open the Scottish Caravan Motorhome & Holiday Home Show on behalf of The Caravan Club, and share the moment with so many people who, like me, connect with the wild world in comfort, in caravans and motorhomes. And what a bonus, I got to join the tribal highland band, Clanadonia, with some drumming during the opening too! After the opening I headed outside to the banks of the river Clyde for a few photographs and then back in for a look around the show. My Scottish caravan tour may have finished, but only for now.
