Unclear site signs !

This story happened on: 04/12/2012

A few years ago, I went to Morvich CC Site with my 9 yrs old grandson.  On arrival, whilst I was setting the caravan up, I sent my grandson to fetch the water with the barrel.  I finished setting up and looked for Matt at the water point across the road and could see no sign of him.  I started looking for him, a bit alarmed as to where he had got to.  A couple were strolling around and seeing me looking a bit agitated, asked if I'd lost something.  I told them yes my grandson was missing and they started laughing and said 'Oh yes, he'd seen the one way signs and thought it meant him so he was on his way round the whole site pulling a full water barrel behind him'.  Sure enough, to my releif he soon appeared looking red in the face from his efforts and asked if I'd fetch the water next time !!

Brilliant story which made me laugh on this snowy day. He is one guy who does take notice of one way signs etc.

Thank you for sharing this with us

Lovely story and I am sure you were relieved on his return, our grandson is one year old and hopefully when he is older and caravaning with mum and dad and nana and grandad he will be as helpful. I am sure I will remember this tale!!  Thanks for the laugh and a Happy New Year.
