motor caravanners beware!!

Surprised to hear that attitude from any CC warden, they're usually willing to help with any situation.  I've stayed at Cirencester quite a few times but always on a hard pitch. We've had a lot of rain this year so maybe the wardens are fed up with dragging 'vans or motorhomes off the grass pitches. If you wanted any advice I would say get a pair of those tracks that you can buy which you can drive on without getting "set".    

Seems a ridiculous situation. I remember going to Old Hartley site and due to the gravel/pebbles under the jockey wheel I couldn't get my van onto pitch using motor mover. The wheel  was digging in (no room to use the car) and a mini tractor was perfect. I wonder, will the pitches become unusable?

Health & Safety has gone mad in the club over the last year do you think there is a new H&S Officer who like most have no idea of the real world they work in,as said in the past and has gone by the board because the fear of someone trying to make a claim,RULES FOR THE GUIDENCE OF WISE MEN AND THE OBEYENCE OF FOOLS

Strange we have just been to Devon and Cornwall for two weeks , the wardens were quite happy to help tow anyone on or off the grass pitches as they were beginning to get churned up .Surely if they have tractors on site it is much better to help  than ruin the sites and have to waste time and money putting the damage right later !If the club member agree`s to help then they have to take the risk of any damage surely .
