The Queen and Prince Philip visit Bailey

This story happened on: 23/11/2012

I thought I would share these photos with you of the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh at the Bailey Caravan factory. It’s good to see The Caravan Club’s Patron, Prince Phillip, having a look at some of Bailey’s latest models and seeing how these are manufactured in the UK. Our very own Club Chairman, Grenville Chamberlain, was there to greet them and represent The Caravan Club on the day.

There were some lovely local news items about the visit, it must have a great boost for Bailey. The Queen had a very bumpy start to her motorhome ride, we could see her being thrown along the seat! But it was nice to see everyone looking so cheerful on a very wet day.Smile
