Moreton-in-Marsh.

This story happened on: 15/05/2013

Autumn 2012. When we set off from East Yorks the weather was not too bad, it mostly is quite good. Destination New Forest(1 week) and Cotswolds(1 week). When we arrived in Moreton-in-Marsh it was already partly flooded. We pitched with no problems, but the weather was dank & cool. Not a problem, after all UK in Autumn-no one travels for a tan. Dog walking area partly submerged-not a problem, dogs love water. We visited the Village for supplies, roughly 1 mile away and a nice walk, could be better if the local authority cut the bushes alongside the road, they push you onto the road to pass them. The hol was like all our hols, the site is a place to park the mobile B&B. The rest of the time is visiting the attractions-Bourton-on-the-water, twice it was so good. Wookey hole, a few gardens and minor attractions for the autumnal colour. The club site is well looked after and run by a team of helpful, non-intrusive folk. I thought deeply to see if i could balance the piece with some negative comments. . . .But i have none. I expect an average stay whilst away, the Moreton-in-marsh site is way above average. Would we go again/recommend it. . . . .Gladly and happily.
