discovery went onto limp home mode.
This story happened on: 12/11/2012
After leaving Moreton in marsh site in our discovery 3 towing a twin axle bailey caravan all went well,we had been traveling some time on the motorways at between 55 and 60 mph, when we got to the split for m6 toll etc.a dash warning came up saying ENGINE SYSTEM FAULT ,AND THE ENGINE WENT INTO LIMP HOME MODE,i had enough speed and empty lanes to my left and went onto the hard sholder and swiched of the engine and restarted it,dash warning had gone and unit was back on form. After 10 miles it happened again and i stopped and did the same things as last time and off we went again,i then got of the motorway and all was fine as i was going slower. The next day the land rover went into my local dealer who spent several days and £170 going over the faut codes etc.with involvment from land rover etc.they could not find a problem and said they could not reproduce the fault on test,i confirmed that they would have to drive on a motorway for several miles towing 1.5 tonnes. They said it could have been one of those things. As i will not be towing again untill the 2013 season i am concerned the fault may still be there. As any one else had a problem like this.
