Bank Holiday Mini Break

Had a fantastic 2nd outing with our new caravan. My wife, Tracy and I are completly new to caravaning and having taken the full plunge and purchased a brand new Bailey Vigo, decided to have our second outing over the August Bank hiliday, staying at the Ferry Meadows site in Peterborough.

A relativly short trip from our home, but that wasn't the point it was about getting away and relaxing.

The site was fantastic, great easy access, friendly staff and a nice little shop that stocked the esentials

Pitches were a mix of hard standing and grass and had plenty of room for manoeuvring.The shower blocks were immaculate, plenty of hot water and showers you could actually turn around in.

The nearby country park offered fantastic choices of walks, cycle routes and leisure activities.

If this is the standard of the caravan club sites, all I can say is I can't wait to travel to our next outing in a couple of weeks.
