Happy holiday

This story happened on: 02/08/2020

Hi everyone I’m Phils wife Karen. We are first time caravaners at the youthful age of 60/66. Although new to this experience we are by no means rookie campers as we were both involved with the scouting movement over the years complete with various camping trips with the boys. Mainly because our boys were involved and we supported their choices over the years. I have had a bad few years with my health but wanted to get back to camping but in a more elegant style. We considered trailer tents but my husband came home with a wonderful surprise a Caravan. We have just come back from 21/2 weeks of camping throughout the westcountry, which is where we are from originally. The best campsite so far for us is Crossways in Moreton, Dorset. Peaceful back to nature style camping. It is well run and lots of wildlife including deer. (There is an information board for everyone to go and seek out flora and fauna.) I felt very relaxed and nurtured there and we will definitely go back soon. There is no entertainment or refreshments onsite which really made it for us!!
